Two Arrested For Possession of Stolen Property and Warrants

BARSTOW-(VVNEWS.com):  Two Bakersfield residents were arrested for the possession of stolen property in Barstow on Friday night. Richard Cagle, 55 and Heather Stewart, 35 were stopped near the 15 freeway and Old State Highway 58 in a light blue Lincoln with no rear plates.

Stewart initially provided a false name to the deputy but was later identified as a parolee at large who was wanted for an undisclosed parole violation. Cagle, who was driving the vehicle was determined to have a suspended license and an active warrant for his arrest from Kern County.

The pair was detained and the vehicle was searched. During the search stolen wallets, ID’s, drivers licenses and checkbooks belonging to multiple victims were located. Both were arrested and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for Possession of Stolen Property and warrants.
