Police Searching For Suspect Who Killed 8-year-old Boy

POMONA, Calif. – Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a murder suspect who killed an 8-year-old boy in the city of Pomona.

On Monday, February 21, 2017, at approximately 6:36 p.m., Pomona Police Dispatch received a call regarding a possible victim of a shooting in the 1100 block of West Eleventh Street.

Responding officers located an 8-year-old victim of a shooting and the victim was treated at the scene by LA County Fire personnel.

The child was then transported to an area hospital by ambulance and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

At this time this is an active investigation and the Pomona Police Department Homicide Detectives have been called out to investigate this incident.
