SAN BERNARDINO-(VVNEWS.com): San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies went to the 3000 block of Harrison Street to serve a felony arrest warrant and were shocked to find a man and woman smoking methamphetamine while their 2-year-old was in the home.
The couple not only were using drugs with the toddler in the next room, but they used a sippy cup that they had converted into a meth pipe, Cpt. Stephen Dorsey said on a Twitter “tweet”.
The couple, identified as 31-year-old Ronald Clayton Steel and 36-year-old Laticia Rose Willamson were arrested and booked into the Central Detention Center for child endangerment and drug use. Both Steel and Williamson have an extensive criminal history according to San Bernardino county court records.
The child was taken into protective custody and was later released to family.
Steel and Williamson are due in court on Monday, January 11th for an arraignment hearing at the San Bernardino Superior Court.
