Apple Valley Man Arrested for San Jacinto Murder

SAN JACINTO-(VVNEWS.com):  A 23-year-old Apple Valley man was arrested on suspicion of the murder and kidnapping of a man believed to be his relative authorities said. On Thursday night, police responded to a shots heard report on the 300 block of Cambridge Drive in San Jacinto.

Upon arrival, officers from the San Jacinto Station located an adult male with gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts made by emergency personnel, the victim died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

Homicide investigators were called to the scene to assume the investigation. The investigation led them to Apple Valley resident, Bryan Anthony Waller. Waller was arrested on suspicion of murder and kidnapping and was booked into the Southwest Detention Center.

The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The motive for the murder is unknown at this time.
